Deal of the Day on Spiritually Charged, Beaded Bracelets

I often have several incredible sales per week on my customer favorites at the Energy Shop. For instance, today’s Deal of the Day is this gorgeous Garnet, on sale at 40% off:

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”–Rumi

This stretch bracelet is full of warmth, everytime the light hits the Garnet it reminds me of deep red candy apples! It is composed of medium (10mm) Garnet gemstone and a sterling silver stardust bead.

Garnet is said to inspire love and bring luck. It is energizing and protective. Garnet opens the heart, bestows self-confidence, and removes inhibition and taboos. When worn with other stones, garnet amplifies their effect. This is also the January birthstone, and it compliments the Capricorn zodiac.

If you’d like to receive updates on sales and specials from the shop, please join Energy Shop @ Etsy on Facebook. All the best!

With these Bracelets, I thee Share

My bracelets were recently worn by a bridal party at a wedding, and that includes the bride, herself. Her something blue came from the Energy Shop. I made a bride’s something blue. I’m still reeling over this, and now I’m creating listings to encourage more of the same feeling. When I sit in my home office and work with these gemstones, I imagine my jewelry on people’s arms doing wonderful things with them in their lives. I think to myself, All the places you’ll go . . .

On its way ♥

An Energy Shop Facebook friend recently pointed out her profile picture, in which she’s standing on the beach with her family and she’s got an Energy Shop bracelet on her wrist.  It looks like a beautiful, lifetime memory, and I feel like I get to be part of that. I realize not everybody thinks of energy the same way. I see it as far beyond us, all around us, all through us, and connecting us to everywhere and everything. I see us even more so connected when we purposely send our loving thoughts and prayers exactly where we’d like them to go.

My bracelets are made of loving thoughts and prayers. I practically kiss them ‘goodbye’ when I pack them off to your house. And if you know me, you know that I wear a lot of my own bracelets. Sometimes, they’re just for me. I’ll have a feeling that the gemstone I’m working with has everything I need at that time, and I pop one on my own wrist as I’m making them for sale. Other times, I will absolutely LOVE the colors and stones I’m working with, but I’ll know it’s needed somewhere else. Today I finished my first necklace:

Summer Cherries

Everyone in my house wants us to keep it, but I know it has to go. It has a destiny, and fate will carry it away to its rightful mailbox. Until the next time I pull my head out of the beads. All the best ♥

The Colorful Rainbow Flourite

Refreshing Rainbow

A frequent attraction in my Etsy shop is the gemstone, Rainbow Flourite. These stones seem to interact with each other, the colors play and dance on my wrist. This is a spiritual gemstone, especially beneficial to those in the Capricorn and Pisces zodiac signs.

Rainbow Flourite overcomes disorganization, draws off negative energies, and relieves stress. It purifies and reorganizes anything within the physical body that is not in perfect order. Rainbow Flourite cleanses and stabilizes the aura. It makes the wearer aware of their spiritual guides.

Rainbow Flourite is also good for the libido, if you know what I mean . . . 😉 Visit me at the Energy Shop for this and more. Until the next time I pull my head out of the beads ♥

Dina’s Bracelets on Real Housewives of New Jersey

My blog is taking a lot of traffic from people searching “Dina’s bracelets” so I’d like to offer everything I know on the subject. Dina Manzo from Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey wears gemstone bracelets. Natural gemstones are of the Earth and are said to carry spiritual meaning, like crystals. It is an ancient idea, in fact, most of our beliefs about  gemstones can be traced back to 4500 BCE Egypt. The traditions moved through Greece and spread around the world with the times, and all along, gems and crystals were revered for their decorative, healing, and protective properties.

When you see Dina wearing the bracelets, she’s wearing different gemstones for their different attributes. Let me be clear that I do not make the actual bracelets Dina wears, but I offer something similar at a more affordable price. I’ll get to that later. Dina buys her spiritual stone bracelets (or power bracelets, as they’re often searched) from a jewelry store called Zen Jewelz (Zen Jen had a sit down with Dina on the show). The last I checked, prices started at $95 and up. Not only does Zen Jen sell the bracelets, she does a house call with Dina where she “smudges” them.

Smudging is a Native American tradition that involves burning white sage. The white sage is said to release any negative energy on the material (object, person, or room), which is released and recycled back to positive. The white sage smudge then brings forth the positive ions and activates them–bringing alive the material’s best ideals.

So, why do I know all of this? Well, because my store is called the Energy Shop, where I also make, smudge, and sell spiritual stones. I love and believe in all of this very much. I love what I do. I charge each individual stone with its meaning as I’m stringing it, I smudge it when I’m done, and I hand-wrap it with love before it leaves my shop. My bracelets are more affordable, starting at $10 and up.

Last but not least, I want to address the bracelet that Dina and Jacqueline refer to as the “fertility bracelet” that Jacqueline was wearing when she got pregnant. As viewers, we’ve never seen this bracelet, but Zen Jen writes that she used Rose Quartz. Actually, there are several gemstones that are used for fertility purposes, and what is most important is that the gemstones are charged with this meaning.  For instance, Rose Quartz can be charged to attract love and infinite peace, but not fertility. The wearer could choose to program the bracelet for fertility, and this would be helpful to her, but I believe it’s more powerful when the stones were created, and THEN programmed, with that meaning.

I currently have a Fertility Bracelet in Rose Quartz at my shop. If you would like another gemstone custom-made for fertility reasons, simply visit my shop and click “Request Custom Item” on the right-hand side of the main page. I would be happy to accommodate your individual needs as I often create bracelets to fit the specific desires of my customers.

If you are looking for Dina’s other jewelry line, or any other information on her, I like to read her blog at BravoTV.com. Thank you for visiting. Enjoy your stay ♥ And all the best,

Lisa

More Real Housewives? Yes, Please!!

The Real Housewives make me happy. I used to be all excuses and “guilty pleasure” about it, now I’m shouting it from the rooftops. It’s good TV. There’s drama, there’s laughs, there’s heartache, and there’s joy–and usually, all of those things happen in each 1 hour show. Beat that.

I just watched the latest episode of Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of New Jersey. The previews for next week announced that it will be the last show for one cast member. All I can say is, Puhh-lease let it be Danielle. Please DO NOT make me say ‘goodbye’ to Dina, Caroline, Jacqueline, or Teresa. I am too fond of those ladies and I would miss them terribly.

I don’t like to comment on the play-by-play of each episode, mainly because there are already bloggers who do that really well. I do want to mention that BravoTV.com hosts blogs by all the Housewives, and you can go there each week to read them give personal recaps on each episode. Here’s a link to Dina’s.

Dina Manzo from Real Housewives of New Jersey talking about the episode that aired June 7.

And speaking of Dina, if you love her bracelets and her positive energy, you’ll love my shop on Etsy. The store where she gets hers charges upwards of $95 per bracelet, but I use all the same gemstones that carry the exact same attributes, at much more affordable prices. ♥ The Energy Shop ♥ Jewelry to Fit Your Dreams @ www.energyshop.etsy.com

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!!

I’m in Love! I’m in Love And I Don’t Care Who Knows It!

I apologize in advance for my gush-fest. I am now creating a new category for my sidebar called “Gemstones.” Listen, this is going to get ridiculous. Of course there have been other loves in my life: sunstone, labradorite, and jasper to name a few. I’ll never forget them. However, I just met Carnelian.

So beautiful

Oh, the things I'm going to do to you

This orange-red gemstone is not only beautiful, it’s a powerhouse–full of wonderful attributes. This stone was beloved by the Egyptians, as it was believed to assist the soul on its journey. It is worn to calm anger, jealousy, and envy. It helps stabilize high emotions and anchors the wearer into present reality. Carnelian is excellent for restoring vitality. It helps you to accept the cycle of living, release the fear of death, and make positive life choices. I like this stone for someone who wants to heal from betrayal, it allows you to trust yourself and your perceptions as you overcome negative conditioning.

Furthermore, Carnelian is a stone of abundance. It motivates you toward success in business, as well as other Life matters.

*sigh* Isn’t she lovely?

If you’re interested in my beauty, she does especially well for the following zodiac signs: Taurus, Cancer, Leo, and Scorpio. One of those is me! Carnelian and I are a match made in Heaven. Love Her!

See more at Etsy, if you like. All the best!!!

Smudge-Tastic

Do you ever find yourself completely lost, but in a really good way? Let’s say, you make a wrong turn and you end up in a dense state forest on a dewy summer morning. You find yourself driving beside a cool and narrow river, and you roll your windows down to take it all in. You’re not sure where you are, you’re still lost, but you’ve also found quite a bit. I love, Love, LOVE these happy accidents (love you too, Bob) in Life. They happen all the time.

This year has offered me a series of new ideas. I’m never sure where the next one is going to lead, but I love losing myself, and simultaneously finding myself in them. Blogging was a brand new idea (to me) and I can hardly believe the new things I have learned. And then I found beading and bracelets.

Have you ever stumbled onto an activity and fallen in love–and then you realize how much of your life has been leading up to that discovery? This happened for me with horseback riding. When I started taking lessons and completely lost myself in the passion I had for this activity, I could trace hints of that passion back to my early childhood. It happened for me with writing, I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t want to sit down in a private spot with a notebook. It happened again for me with beading and bracelets: the way I admire my wrist when I have a bracelet on, the way I used to string beads as a girl, the way I long for a delicious piece of arm candy. Sometimes, I wonder what’s next. I think maybe I’d like it if all of these interests would surface at once, so I could play with them all! But, I would probably be overwhelmed by that kind of eruption, so I’m grateful for the way Life unfolds.

So, in this last week, I’ve lived hunched over in a world of creation between my eyes and my fingers with gemstone beads flying in and out of the picture. It’s been wonderful. I’ve made bracelets for myself, friends, family, and even my first customer on Etsy! What Love! And I’ve gotten really good response. The gemstones I use are of the Earth and they come with attributes: they add joy, courage, luck, prosperity, and rhythm, among many others. Once I clean them, bead them, and tie the bracelet off, I smudge them.

Smudging is a Native American tradition that involves burning white sage. The white sage is said to release any negative energy on the material (object, person, or room), which is released and recycled back to positive. The white sage smudge then brings forth and activate the positive ions–bringing alive the stone’s best ideals.

I think each smudge stick is simply beautiful.

White Sage Smudge Sticks

I love this so much that I’ve purchased my own supply of smudge sticks. I sell them with my bracelets, wrapped up pretty and neat.

These are fantastic for a Feng Shui energy-cleansing too!  Visit my Energy Shop on etsy if you’re interested.

I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Until the next time I pull my head out of the beads, dear friends!
